I'm not particularly interested in sewing menswear but I figured the basic principles would be the same. Oxford: Blackwell Science, 1980. In order to prepare, I went to the library and borrowed Metric Pattern Cutting for Menswear by Winifred Aldrich. It's fitting that Neighbour Helen decided to buy me this book for my birthday, as she's the one who got me interested in drafting recently, and she liked it so much she bought one for herself, too! I bought the one for Menswear a while ago, and am planning on using it to make a shirtpattern for the mr. Oxford: Blackwell Science, 1997. I've read a lot about Winifred Aldrich's books “Metric Pattern Cutting for… “. Metric Pattern Cutting for Menswear: Including Unisex. Clothes and Computer Aided Design. I've heard that this is one of the best pattern drafting books around In the menswear version of metric pattern cutting (which I do have in English), 'easy fitting' means 'with more ease'.
